I know it’s
been a while since my last post but I have kept myself pretty busy with
university, weekend trips, exploring the city and friends.
August has
been a good month in the university – regular classes started and everyone’s life
here started to become “normal”. I am mostly happy with my classes but my
Mondays and Wednesdays are a little long with 4 classes each. Tuesdays and
Thursdays I only have two classes though and that gives me a nice break.
Buenos
Aires is very big city. I knew that before I came here but I guess I didn’t
really think about it. Turns out, I’m not so much the Big-City-Girl. I think I
knew this before also. It is very exciting to see all the great places this
city has to offer but living here is also exhausting. It is very loud, crowded,
everyone seems to constantly be in a hurry and all the high-risers make me feel
like I’m locked up. Additionally a new building is being built right next to
ours so we have constant construction noise.
So I take
this whole thing as an experience but I can honestly say that I miss living in
Ingolstadt. Who would have thought…
To keep a balance, I am trying to get away to see other places here in this
wonderful country!
In August I
went to Mendoza, Tigre and Córdoba and the next trips are already planned.
Posts about
the trips are coming soon, but here are finally some pictures of BsAs!
